Dental seats are filled from the same NEET-UG merit list and the same counselling as MBBS. A sensible BDS preference order often decides whether you hold a seat after round two.

Ayurveda and homoeopathy degrees, regulated by NCISM and NCH. Counselling runs separately through AACCC and, in Bihar, UGMAC (Ayush), and usually later than MBBS.

How NEET counselling works for a Bihar student
A Bihar student with a NEET-UG qualification can take part in more than one counselling at the same time. The all-India rounds are run by MCC, AACCC and VCI. The Bihar state rounds are run by the Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) under the name UGMAC.
For the 2026 session BCECEB opened UGMAC registration for MBBS, BDS, BVSc and BFSc on 10 August 2026, and issued a separate UGMAC (Ayush) notice for BAMS, BHMS and BUMS in September 2026. Each has its own registration, fee, security deposit and rules for leaving a seat.
Most of the avoidable losses we see come from three things: registering for only one counselling, filling choices in the wrong order, and reaching document verification with a certificate in the wrong format.

MBBS abroad: five checks before any fee is paid
The National Medical Commission does not approve or rank foreign universities. It sets conditions in the Foreign Medical Graduate Licentiate Regulations, 2021, and a degree that misses any of them cannot be registered in India.
- You qualified NEET-UG before taking admission abroad.
- The course runs for at least 54 months, in one institution.
- A 12-month internship is done in that same foreign institution.
- The medium of instruction is English throughout.
- The degree makes you eligible for a licence to practise in that country.
After returning, a graduate must clear the screening test, which is FMGE until the National Exit Test comes into force, and then complete an internship in India.

Questions people ask before they call
What does SG Global Education do?
SG Global Education is a private consultancy at H-26, Income Tax Colony, Bhoothnath Road, Patna. It guides students through NEET-UG counselling for MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS and BVSc in India, advises on MBBS abroad, and recruits teaching faculty for medical colleges. It is not a government body and does not allot seats.
Can I get an MBBS seat in India without NEET?
No. Every MBBS seat in India, including management quota and NRI quota seats in private colleges and deemed universities, is filled from the NEET-UG merit list through official counselling. An offer of a seat without NEET or outside counselling is not a valid admission.
Who conducts NEET-UG counselling in Bihar?
The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) conducts it under the name UGMAC. In 2026 UGMAC covers MBBS, BDS, BVSc and AH and BFSc seats, and a separate UGMAC (Ayush) covers BAMS, BHMS and BUMS. Registration is on bceceboard.bihar.gov.in.
Is an MBBS degree from abroad valid in India?
It can be, if the course meets the NMC Foreign Medical Graduate Licentiate Regulations, 2021: at least 54 months of study and a 12-month internship in the same foreign institution, taught in English, leading to a licence to practise in that country. The graduate must also have qualified NEET-UG before joining, then pass the screening test in India (FMGE at present) and complete an internship here.
Does SG Global Education guarantee admission?
No, and nobody lawfully can. Seats are allotted by MCC, AACCC, VCI or the state counselling authority on NEET rank, category and the choices you fill. What we do is help you understand your realistic options, prepare your choice list and documents, and avoid mistakes that cost a round.

Yes.
